Four flights in Y on LH - my experience:

1) Told I cannot listen to CDs in a Discman
2) Made an example of at the gate in FRA with my perfectly legal (in the US) carry-on
3) 3 hours into a 9hr flight, the plane turns back to FRA without any concrete explanation
4) Run out of immigration forms

4A) Family member, different flights - both checked bags are misrouted. Zero accomodation.

This was all as a *Gold or Silver.

I used to think maybe it's just some bad luck. Seeing this thread and the Fonzarelli thread a year back, it's not. It's simply a miserable airline to travel in Y.
