The cost varies from $1000 to 2500, depending upon country, but requires a real $150,000 in purchases as near as I can tell. I tried to get one, and AMEX said"sorry, you only spend an average of $10k per month". I said "yes, for the past 5 years or so". They said "sorry".

It is my understanding that the $150k can be on more than one card, and once you get the thing, you do not have to put the$150k on the centurion card(if you wish to use your Starwood card).
