The sink had to be installed overlapping the (small) tub by a couple of inches

. Are the suites there much better?
Wow! I was in 622, on the corner of the building with a nice view across town along 49th st. It wasn't high enough for my liking, but the room was nice.
The bathroom was not exactly spacious but it wasn't as cramped as yours, by the sound of it. There were no overlapping fixtures at least! There was a small kitchen next to the entrance door that would probably have been the bathroom in a regular room. It was fine as a kitchen, but would indeed have made a tiny, cramped bathroom.
