I dont know about that "maintenence" vs light load thing

I was flying from dtw-msp one morning, I was on a 320?0r a 9? but there was another flight leaving about 15 minutes after us to msp (757), our flight was "delayed" for mechanical, so everyone is freaking out but the G/A was like oh, there is plenty of room on the 757, so you are ALL going on that flight???? I went to him and said "****, not only do I not really have anywhere to be in MSP anytime soon, but I would rather wait and take an F/C upgrade (silver). He said, with a smile, 'no, I think I better put you on the 757' and that was that!
