If you are going to be staying and need a second room for other members of your family, you can redeem two of these for the same hotel and the same nights. If anyone at the Customer Contact Center needs clarification on this, tell them to contact me as I have the email from SPG GMO that says this is okay.

The email exchange I have from SPG GMO reads as follows:

"ME: We have said that these can't be transferred to another person as a gift like Preferred (free) Night Awards can be, but that a member can use more than one to redeem for multiple rooms on a given weekend at the same property provided they are staying in one of the rooms, i.e. for a family member on the same stay. Is that correct?

SPG GMO: Yes, that is correct."

"ME: Just to further clarify...would this be okay if the second or third room was not a family member, but say, an acquaintance?

SPG GMO: Yes, that’s okay."
