There seems to have been a lot of misunderstanding in this thread about the use of the pronouns "you" and "one" - which led to some unnecessary aggravation on everyONE's part.

Since the issue has been discussed, a remedy for those who need it has been supplied, and policy has been explained , I am going to close this thread.

Let me remind everyone that MANY complaints about UAL here on FT take the form of what some would consider nit-picky or unfair complaints. May I also remind you that we Ft'ers are very skilled at educating others about when to pursue a complaint and when to let it drop. I would ask that you not use the excuse that some's complaint is ill founded to then attack or disparage the POSTER.
