Power plugs on 747s

Just want to know whether anyone have been on CP's 747 lately. I am travelling next week YYZ-HKG in J class and would like to know whether they have installed power plugs for laptop in their J class seats yet and whether they have those plugs onboard for our use. I know the 767s and 320 have them. The last time I was on a 747 was 2 months ago and it was not a proud wings aircraft and it didn't have any plugs. It would be nice to at least get some work done on the 14 hr leg between YVR-HKG. Or should I ask the conceirge to figure out for me on the day of travel?

Just my thought on CP selling their NRT slots to AC. I think this is what AC's been dreaming of ever since CP got those routes. However, I think CP is going to keep the HKG slots as the last possible resort because those are their most profitable routes. CP must be doing really bad lately in order to do this and have seat sale in the middle of the christmas season.

Regards,
Empress
