For some reason, RJ FAs seem to be more strict overall. However, as of late on mainline as soon as I sit down I put them on and take them off just before landing. No one has ever said a thing, I assume it helps that I take the cord right out of my QC2s so it looks like I'm just using them as ear muffs.YMMV
