She called the local LH flight manager, who agreed to re-open the flight and call for another bus. Then she escorted me to the gate. She said, they would not have done it if I had not been a HON customer.

I was just bumped of an OS flight SYD-KUL-VIE arriving 30min before departure letting them know 3 hours in advance that i would be coming from MEL .... they didn't let me on the flight

I was even more dissapointed when I found out later they hadn't sold my seat, but the gate agent just told the check in to pass me the bucket ....
I had to buy a one-way ticket to FRA since they didn't even offer me a seat on the machine the next day.....

(what a lousy service) ...so I bought a F-ticket with EK (awesome experience in there new 340-500)
Anyhow, good to hear about that service.....15min before departure at the check-in is the closest I have heard yet ^
