It isn't that much flying ... once a month in transAtlantic F earns about 7K SC per year -- thus my past points that QF Plat is far too easy to earn and there needs to be a higher status level with some useful benefits. I would have earned over 1K SC in each of the past 2 months, except none were credited to QFF. It was to my advantage to credit to AAdvantage instead. If QFF had a lifetime Platinum level it would be more interesting and that might tempt me, but lifetime Gold is close to worthless for me (I already have it on AA), so for now I'm crediting the minimum possible miles to QFF. The rest go to AA where they are worth more than twice as much.
