...Raise the statutory compensation for denied boarding to Euro 250 (£173), for short haul flights of less than 1,500 kms, Euro 400 (£277) for flights between 1500 and 3500km and Euro 600 (£415) for long haul flights of 3,500 km or more.
Extend the new denied boarding rights i.e. the right to choose between an alternative flight or a full ticket reimbursement on top of financial compensation to passengers whose flights are cancelled.

For the first time, give travellers who suffer delays a statutory right to reimbursement. After two hours for short haul flights under 1,500 km, after three hours for intra-Community flights and flights under 3,500km. After 4 hours for longer flights.

Give passengers a statutory right to refreshments, meals and hotels where appropriate, for denied boarding, cancellations and delays.

It's worth noting that these payment are cash, not vouchers for travel.
