Extend the new denied boarding rights i.e. the right to choose between an alternative flight or a full ticket reimbursement on top of financial compensation to passengers whose flights are cancelled.
For the first time, give travellers who suffer delays a statutory right to reimbursement. After two hours for short haul flights under 1,500 km, after three hours for intra-Community flights and flights under 3,500km. After 4 hours for longer flights.
Give passengers a statutory right to refreshments, meals and hotels where appropriate, for denied boarding, cancellations and delays.
It's worth noting that these payment are cash, not vouchers for travel.
