Yesterday I had an In Charge who started with the first row of A side, and moved down towards the last row in this case 6. I was in 5 and by the time she got to me the fish option was not available. She asked me did I want the chicken or pasta, I replied what about the salmon. "We are out of that option" was her response to which I added "are you no longer offering first choice to SE's", then the best part "I have 8 SE's on this flight" as she studied the manifest. Later as I stood waiting for the toilet I could view the manifest and guess what there were not 8 other SE's and only one in front of me in row 3B. Love it when they don't follow the procedure and then make something up - sounds like they have been practicing with their friends in the baggage claim area for reasons the bags take so long.
