Geez, where was this thread a few days ago when I needed it?

I'm headed to Madrid on Thursday for the first time. Not sure of where to stay, I settled on a gay hotel right on Plaza Puerta Del Sol that was listed in both Spartacus and Frommers. It looks to be pretty spartan, but the location looks great. I'll report back on it next week.

As for clubs, I'm a DJ and this is a marketing run for me to check out clubs and deliver demo CDs in person. On my list are Ohm, Refugio and Shangay Tea Dance. Any other dance clubs that should be high on my list?
