Hiiragiya is very much in the same class as Tawaraya. The view is the private garden, and the bathroom means the bath, not the toilet.

I found Hiiragiya to be extremely welcoming to me as a Westerner. Also, you can communicate with Hiiragiya via e-mail, and I didn't find that to be the case with Tawaraya (though I have no doubt that T is excellent, as well.)
