On planes with only two classes, am I correct in thinking AA's "First Class" is roughly the same as CP's "Business Class"? (Or if not, at least AC's "Business Class"?).

I discovered on AA's site, a round-trip first class fare class listed that is comparable to the CR1 I used on CP. But I can't seem to actually find fares less than F26 (U$2800/C$4200), which is roughly equal to CP's "J" fare.

I think this would only work through ORD, since YOW-BOS-LAX doesn't come up on AA's site (although it does appear on itn). And it would earn fewer points than going through Vancouver.

Any advice will be appreciated.
