The suite ug certs which expire 5/31/05 with offer code DIAMGC do not have the word "diamond" anywhere on it. The new suite UG certs sent out with this year's Diamond package do say on the front, "As a valued Diamond member, ..." The new certs. use offer code DMSUCC. Both certs say they are not transferable.

Both certs. require the hotel to enter a guest's Gold Passport account number into the reservation, hence you do have to sign up for the GP program if you are not a member. I don't know if they will check with the new certs. whether the person using them is a Diamond or not. However, last year's suite ug certs which expired on 6/30/04 also used code DMSUCC, did not have any wording of diamond on them, and anyone could use them (from personal experience).

Given that most of the other coupons given out with this year's Diamond package either say they can only be used by the person it was sent to or that only one bonus will post to your account, it's clear Hyatt is attempting to limit trading. However, this year's suite ug doesn't say either of the above two things.
