This is an interesting story to bring up. Sometime airlines place overweight people together. Or they wait until they are closing up the flight to see if there are any seats available where they could enjoy an empty seat next to them.

I was on a flight from ORD-LHR, sitting right next to the door where people were getting on. Two very large people boarded the flight and minutes later four people came up to the front complaining with the flight attendant that they refused to sit next to these people for eight hours, and the flight was PACKED.

I don't know what the solution is - there are large people in the world and most of them can't afford a first or business class ticket...however, they should consider buying TWO coach tickets - this way it would make it easier on them as well as their fellow passengers.
