San Fran has really high parking rates. On a trip with my Mom (who almost never has been in a big city), we were driving around near Chinatown and saw a sign that said $3.50 for parking and we figured that was a pretty good rate. As we pulled in, we saw that it really said $3.50 per HOUR.
We got a big chuckle out of that.
