When you exit International Arrivals (immigration/customs) you come up to the main ticketing level . As I recall it is Terminal A at about the Gate 38 location (outside security). Look at the link to the map https://www.aa.com/content/travelInf...tdetails.jhtml for specifics.

You will come up an esscallator to a group of greater! Then to your RIGHT will be the security line for get back INTO the gates complex. EVERY time I have gone thru DFW coming in International ... the lines here have been horrrrrible. And they seem to have NO premium lines anywhere in DFW.

What I do .. after navigating around the greeters and the security line is to rush to the next security line. According to the map (and memory, you walk PAST the checking counters .. thru long hall .. thru a baggage claim group... thru a long hall and then before you get to the ticket counters at gate 22-ish area, the line starts forming along that wall. It normally is MUCH shorter .. even with the nice brisk walk to avoid the lines.

TSA in Dallas is especially 'obtuse' and AA claims they cannot do anything about it (like have Premium lines).

Yes and like another writer said .. if you miss your plane... AA should (will) get you on the next one.

HOWEVER, instead of rushing and sweating.. TAKE THE LONGER LAYOVER!

The AA Club in A terminal has FABULOUS showers (multi-jet) .. it is their former (now closed) Arrivals lounge area. Then (if you are flying no-food-economy) find a Dickies BBQ place and have Brisket and/or Sausage plate.

I'd FAR rather know a shower is waiting for me .. rather than rush rush thru a terminal.
