The key is the number of international flights arriving at the same time. I was flying from Lima to DFW connecting on a flight to BOS. I had two hours between flights and BARELY made it. Some things to keep in mind:
1. you need to clear immigration and customs and then go through security again.
2. in this case, the flights arriving in DFW stacked up so that three intern'l flights arrived at the same time. There was a long, long line going immigration and a long long going through security again.
