Yeah, there was a long thread about this subject some time ago. One school of thought was that the fare basis is actually an economy fare since by purchasing it you are automatically "upped" into A. The other being that since A is discounted first then it is a first class fare. I am of the school of thought that I really dont care as long as I sit in F and get my EQM's and do it for a decent price.
If I would have remembered that thread when I was typing I would have not even mentioned fare bases....dont mean to start that very interesting topic again.
