The Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort is a nice hotel with good recreation facilities for the kids and good restaurants for the adults. Beach, pools, tennis, gym.

The Copacabana Palace Hotel is the best hotel in Rio, the high cost is well worth it.
