For the "once in a lifetime" experience, neither day or night flights qualify. However, daytime flights to Europe are much rarer. Only a few people who live in select big cities (like New York) can fly these. Even people from Texas and California cannot.

Why torture yourself with a red eye? Be a bigshot and be able to say that you picked a daylight flight (had the knowhow and lived in a prestigious city).
