Actually if you don't care about destination and just want the experience, the best pick is JFK-YVR on CX. Their F service is far better than BA, AA, QF or any other airline offers (only SQ matches it, while AN and JL also have it on a very few routes but not systemwide; LH is rapidly improving though). CX will serve caviar and Krug champagne on the JFK-YVR flight (it goes on to HKG), and BA etc. do not. The food and wine catering budget on CX is more than double per pax than BA and AA have, and it shows. Also better seats, cabin, service etc. So go skiiing at Whistler instead of heading to LHR.
