I avoid G and A whenever possible, for multiple reasons. T2 is far and away the best place to clear, T3 second. For me, A and T1 tie for worst. They should return those new T1 bag scanners to the manufacturer as defective. They have them at OAK T2 now and they are equally awful there, leading to very long back-ups.
T2 is where I always go too. Never had a problem there and recommend it to UA flyers. The good news is with the entire airport accessible airside now, you can pick and choose pretty easily. Not that walking from A to G just because A has five minute shorter security times is sensible
