On my recent trip last week, it converted to roughly $117.
Technically not always $100 USD some properties offer exceeds this figure but is USD based always.
When I stayed via the Edit at the Regent Hong Kong it was a $300 USD credit, not sure if still the same now but probably has not changed.. Same as SP03 describes the stated amount is based on USD but converted to local currency so you may get plus/minus 10% or so.
