The JAL earning table shows

• Business Class I = 250% avios multiplier
• Finnair Plus Platinum = 100% tier point multiplier

What I'm struggling to understand is whether this means Business, First and Economy all effectively earn the same number of tier points per mile (i.e, just 100% if platinum)? with only the Avios differing.

The reason I'm questioning it is because (1) that sounds rather odd and punitive and (2) JAL's reciprocal update for JMB members refers to a FLY ON Mile-Up bonus on Finnair flights, which suggests status multipliers are applied on top of base earning rather than replacing it.

Has anyone got a real post-May-2026 example?
