Why is it okay to give those who use points or pay a Business Lite cash fare worse seats? Imagine you've saved up your hard earned miles (from flying or credit card points), and you're planning your honeymoon or your first family trip where your parents / grandparents can try Business Class.
TBH if it's the first time travelling business class (or a very rare treat), it really doesn't matter where in the cabin you sit, if you've only ever travelled in economy, it's a huge step up and you appreciate it regardless of where you sit. Especially on SQ, where all the non-bulkhead seats are the same. I know it was for me when I first took a long haul business flight and that was on recliner seats! In fact I still fell privileged to be able to travel in business class, regardless of whether I'm in the last row or the first, especially in configurations that are all aisle access.
