It's not the worst case scenario if Viasat continues to provide long-haul wifi for awhile. If Viasat-3 F3 meets its stated goals on Viasat's website of 100 Mbps+ download speeds, TPAC service will be quite good. And Viasat was actually fine on my Seattle to Amsterdam flight on Friday. I was able to stream Canadiens @ Hurricanes with no issues, and I actually had far fewer disconnects than I do on a typical JFK to LAX flight. When F1 moves to cover Europe it will probably get even more stable.
Leo hopefully working superbly on domestic routes and Viasat working well across TPAC and TATL routes while Amazon builds out the full constellation is not a bad setup for Delta. If F2 and F3 really deliver for customers what Viasat says they will, I think a lot of gripes about Delta not choosing to Starlink will diminish as Leo comes online. Fingers crossed the new satellites work!
