I'm shutting this thread down. I can't express how disappointed I am in some FTers for their ageist sentiments. As noted, all flight attendants must demonstrate the ability to open doors and perform their jobs. I am very confident that other flight attendants wouldn't tolerate a colleague who was a danger to themselves and others.
