Hello all,

Judi and I will be traveling to the Loire Valley in late September. Any suggestions on places to stay or the not to miss places (those places that you would feel are an absolute must for someone with limited time)?

Also, I have no problems driving and have done so many times in France, renting a car at the airport, for this trip we are landing at CDG. I seem to recall two schools of thought for travel to the Loire Valley, take the TGV from Paris to the Loire Valley and then rent a car or just rent a car at CDG and then drive. What are the actual steps to take the TGV? (ie how to get from CDG to the TGV, where to purchase tickets, time involved in the various travel modes (cdg to TGV, Paris to Loire), where to get off the TGV for the Loire Valley.
