I'm not arguing about the no stools at a lounge bar in SEA. But all 3 Alaska lounges have seating at their lounge bars. Just sayin.
I asked once about why no stools in the old Alaska lounges. Washington has a law that says beer tappers must be behind the bar, in an island or against the wall behind the bar. If it’s directly on the other side of the bar where a patron could access it. Then they can’t have bar stools. The new AS lounges have their tappers away from the bar where patrons can’t reach them.
Thus SEA A1 can’t have stools. But the other newer skyclub at the end of A could have bar stools.
However, I’m not denying the stated rules for a VIP SEA lounge can’t have bar stools. But why does the AS lounges have them? I got a feeling that law has been rescinded.
