This group was incredibly helpful in 2022 when planning a road trip from Midland to El Paso.

I am considering seeing a cousin at the San Augustine Rodeo in September. It is a weekend event, so I want to make this a week-long driving trip.

I could fly in/out of IAH or SHV - or in one and out the other.

Looking for any ideas for road trip sights in between.
