Yes, it is possible that a US Airways employee would get upgraded, but after all of the others, as outlined by kluau88's post.
FWIW, I once flew a Saturday BWI-ORD flight on a 757 in F, where 6 America West FAs were deadheading and were all upgraded. Even with them up front, the F cabin was still half empty. It's a Space Available industry courtesy, and EVERY airline does it.
