Update: in seat selection it does describe it as 'business' so for now I'm assuming give it a day and it'll all update.
This has become more prominent since BAC status went spend based and the 'additional layer' now added to bookings during the upgrade still needs to reflect the underlying WTP fare for avios tier bonuses. My understanding is you'll earn based on this and not against CW. So long as you see U as the booking class and the ticket reissued/ emailed to you to reflect the upgrade purchased, you'll have access to the full Club World product for this sector as any other fare paying passenger would including baggage allowance, check in desks, fast track, lounge access, group 2 boarding (or higher if your status allows) and product on board including the full menu of meal options.
