Ugh have not flown delta marketed and credited flight in the past 3 years. May have to just fly one in the next few weeks just to start the process.
Also, once you've been granted the status match, as a Platinum you'll get free upgrades to Comfort Plus, (assuming it isn't sold out) so for that reason I would wait to book my flights. That way when you're booking you can see which flights have desirable Comfort Plus availability and then once you purchase you can immediately go in and select those seats.
