With the new D1 services from ATL to LAX and other expansions plus the amazing D1 lounge at LAX, it’s all big steps to having a great overall experience to compete with the Asian carriers. The past two years instead of nonstops on CI from LAX-TPE, I have done the LAX-SEA-TPE Delta flights and with D1 lounges (at least outbound at LAX & SEA (SEA D1 isn’t open when the TPE flight arrives SEA)) as a nice addition.
