She looked at me like I was dragged in by the cat and spat back as loud as she could “you can’t just bring anyone off the street - that’s not how it works”. “Um actually as long as they are on a BA/OW flight that’s allowed”. Angry stare followed by some muttering and dismissive gestures “stand that side sir”.

How does BA screen for customer service chops? Yes maybe she was just having a bad day. But the whole experience seemed so unnecessary and left a bad taste.
Were you able to guest one of the family, in the end, or she refused?
A really bad reaction and upsetting behavior from the agent part anyway.
