I'm at a loss for what this attempts to solve. TSA inside terminal A? I think the line had 10 people in it for Pre, the touchless line was 0, the TSA guy walking around in the queue area. Would have taken it if not for traveling with my wife who didn't scan her passport into the app before we left. The longest delay was the walk from baggage check in to the precheck queue. Clearing security elsewhere still puts the traffic between the remote site and A18 in between, which seems like a much larger variable. You are checked in and past security, but not at the gate yet, so delays getting to the gate, and getting your bags on board are still on you. Is the non-precheck line so bad?
I could understand putting something out at the blue line airport station, that's a much more controllable transfer.
