Yes, it's good to go to breakfast either early or 20 minutes before closing. I like to sit in the small elevated area near the wall. You can see the tour buses parked near the Ibis Styles side of the building, or I will ask at check-in if any are scheduled that night.

The xx01 suites like the one you got are much better the the xx02 suites even though the sizes are the same because of less noise and a better layout somehow.

As a Titanium, I never have gotten the pastry that you got as an Ambassador. I do get the jars of snacks though.
