It appears to me that a lot of people are paying for J seats on those global routes. It seems pretty hard to get a Titanium upgrade even with only 1 or 2 people on the waitlist. Often times there are 0 seats for sale before the upgrade window even opens. I'm not complaining, I want AS to be successful on those routes and sell the seats, just saying, it's not as if the flying public is boycotting the product because it's priced unreasonably.
