Getting a Taxi at LAS

I have to go to LAS the weekend of March 18, which, I gather from looking at hotel rates and occupancy, is a big weekend in Vegas (peak of Spring Break plus the start of the NCAAA tourny). Based on your experience, what kind of taxi situation should I expect at around 7:30 p.m. on Friday night? How long will the line be is my biggest concern.

What about car services? I know that LAS is very close to the Strip (I will be staying at the Westin), but I have no patience for waiting, especially considering the fact that I have no interest in makign this trip at all. Are they reliable? Do tehy work the same way as in other U.S. cities (do they do meet and greet?).

Taking a taxi is fine with me, but I don't want to wait for more than five minutes for one.

Thanks!
