That assumes that CCC labelled power banks are inherently safer than CE labelled power banks (and whatever the American signage is). I doubt this is true...

I believe the CCC standard is a bit more up to date than CE or other standards. Besides, most power banks are made in China and those in compliance with CCC that I can find all invariably comply with CE and other standards.
