Do certificates book into U class now? If so, anyone that gets a U-class alert even before T-72 can use a certificate to upgrade a Hawaii-mainland flight. The amount of layers they continue (and will add "later in 2026 or 2027") to this program is becoming more and more complex--this what we on FT discuss all the time and even we don't always get how this is all supposed to work--can't imagine how they expect the messaging to make sense to the "average" elite flyer that isn't on FT 24/7.
