Do I miss something?
If I do read it correctly, the OP profile says IC Ambassador.
He stayed at an Holiday INN property and we all do know that Ambassador benefits are just for stays at IC properties.
So, nothing to complain about not getting upgraded at HI, unless he is a Platinum of course.

Speaking of phone issue, well... I prefer not to express my point of view
