Kirby flies American quite a bit, mostly because his primary residence is still in the DFW area. Not surprising that he's on AA a lot, given his flight benefits and the fact that his former airline has a better schedule than his current company from there to the places he travels.
As an example, SFO-DFW today is 9x on AA, compared to 3x on United. DFW-ORD is 12x on AA and 7x on UA.
As Scott would say, "it's just math."
