6A is a fine seat .. yes a window may be missing .. but who cares at 37,000.

I would however remember EFOB (Even flight number Front - Odd flight number Back).

You will be the LAST row asked for your meal preference on the DFW-ZRH flight (38). In theory there are two FA's .. one working each aisle, but on light loads I have seen one start at the front of HJ side to the back then come to AB side and start at the front again... so you could be the last last choice. With two FA's doing it on the last row they will 'share' what they have left.

BUT you may be left with the Vegetable Plate ... vs a choice.

On any flight from/to NRT/NGO I work with this EFOB rule to get the Japanese meal .. on Europe flights .. you still take your chances.

What to do? I'd forget about the window (what can you see anyhow) and look for a seat with no one next to you .. even if it is center .. and on an even flight . a bit farther forward.
