There are still frequent posts on social media of "Southwest changed my assigned seats!", which are usually assumed to be plane swaps. Don't know if they are 800-to-MAX8. I think a more common swap now is old-config (LUV in row 15) to new-config (LUV in row 30) and vice-versa. We had it happen twice to us leading up to a flight last month (old to new, and then new to old). Would be interesting to know where Southeast is at with this config change. I assumed Row 30 LUV was just on newly delivered MAX8s originally (since last OCT). Are old planes now getting this LUV config change (outside of the ELR config change completed in JAN/FEB), and is it just with the old seats being moved around, or are new Recaro seats being installed in old planes yet?
