To add a surcharge for bags over 50lbs on EXP's and premium fares irks me.

Please see below my email to AA customer relations. I suggest more of us write in on this one. AA should go after the once a year passsenger or $299 roundtrip to Europe fare, not J class and EXP.
Dear Sirs,
As an Executive Platinum and frequent international business class customer I find your new international baggage policy patently offensive. To nickel and dime loyal and high revenue passengers buying tickets that cost $3,000 to $6,000 a piece is non sensical. If my bag is 60 lbs should I check another bag so you can have extra handling time/costs and I can wait longer at baggage claim just to save $25? To ask that from a revenue business class passenger, let alone an Executive Platinum or 1 Million Miler is shortsighted and wrong. I see no reason to accept this type of harassment, for the fares I pay there are other airlines who are making the right call on the baggage issue. I sincerely hope you amend your international baggage policy to exclude premium passengers and Executive Platinums from this silly excess baggage surcharge. If not, you stand lose all of my personal and corporate business.
Sincerely,
XYZ
