Husband and I had American Airlines One World award tickets from Tashkent to Tampa on May 2, 2026. The first flight was to be from Tashkent to Doha on Qatar, and the flight was cancelled about three weeks ago. Ergo, we cancelled the entire trip.

I have been trying to get a "Travel Certificate" from Qatar to give to my trip insurance provider in order to get reimbursed for about $285 in nonrefundable deposits. I asked AA, and they said to contact Qatar. I filled out the "get Travel Certificate" form on the Qatar website, but it said "something went wrong." I have written and called Qatar several times, and everyone keeps saying try again later.

Does anyone have a suggestions about how I can get the Travel Certificate? The trip insurer will not pay on the claim without the certificate. Thank you!
